“360 Degree Protection!” ZAGG, the parent company of Gear4 and InvisibleShield, is leveraging its world class protection reputation under a single banner, ZAGG.
To maximize the marketing and display impact, packaging designs and brand names are merging. For the last few years, the ZAGG name has been growing with each device launch; with the introduction of the fall 2023 devices, the Gear4 name will no longer appear on product packaging.
Graphene
As part of the evolution, ZAGG adopted a new technology called Graphene: one of the strongest materials in the world.
- Harder than diamond, yet more elastic than rubber.
- 200x stronger than steel, yet lighter than alluminium.
- The most conductive man-made material on Earth.
ZAGG’s transition to the new material Graphene coincides with its decision to bring the Gear4 brand under the ZAGG name.
Both brands share the same vision and a commitment to innovation and quality. Merging their strengths and resources will allow ZAGG to secure its position at the forefront of innovation and continue to meet and exceed modern consumer expectations.
ZAGG Phone Cases with Graphene
TRANSITION ROADMAP
- All cases for the new devices, starting from Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 & Galaxy Z Fold5 devices, will be called ZAGG and made with Graphene instead of D3O. New cases will be coming in a ZAGG-branded packaging.
- The composition of all legacy Gear4 cases will remain intact (i.e., with D3O).
Effective July 25, 2023 Hitfar has sunset the Gear4 brand on Hitfar.com.
Going forward, all legacy Gear4 skus and new skus will be sold under the ZAGG brand. This includes the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 & Z Fold5 devices.
